Relaybase is an email validation service operated by Vusion Labs. Relaybase helps businesses and developers validate email addresses and identify potentially invalid, disposable, or risky addresses before sending emails or adding them to their systems.

When you create a Relaybase account, we collect:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Organisation name
• Password, stored in hashed form

When you submit an email address for validation, Relaybase processes it through its validation engine. Submitted email addresses are processed in memory and are not retained as permanent records. Certain validation results may be temporarily cached in hashed form and automatically expire.

Currently, Relaybase does not collect or store your IP address, browser information, or device information. We may introduce additional technical information in the future where necessary to protect the Service, prevent abuse, or improve security. If our data practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Relaybase account
• Provide email validation services
• Communicate with you about your account or the Service
• Monitor and maintain the performance and security of the Service
• Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or policy violations
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

We do not sell your personal information or use your information to build or sell marketing lists.

When you submit an email address, Relaybase processes it through its email validation engine. The validation process may assess:

• Email format and syntax
• Domain and mail server configuration
• SMTP response
• Disposable email indicators
• Catch-all configuration
• Other technical signals used to determine validation confidence

Relaybase returns the resulting validation information to you. Submitted email addresses are not sold, shared with third-party validation providers, or used for marketing purposes. Validation results may be temporarily cached in protected, hashed form and automatically expire.

We do not sell your personal information or submitted email addresses.

Relaybase currently does not send submitted email addresses to third-party email validation providers. Validation is performed using Relaybase's own validation engine.

We currently use Better Stack for analytics and error monitoring.

We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of Relaybase, our users, or others.

Relaybase is hosted on a private VPS server. Account information is retained while your account remains active or as necessary to provide the Service and meet applicable legal obligations.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including:

• Password hashing
• HTTPS/TLS encryption
• In-memory processing of submitted email addresses
• Hashed caching of applicable validation results
• Access controls for authorised Vusion Labs personnel

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Where a security incident occurs, we will take appropriate action and provide notifications where required by applicable law.

Relaybase is operated from Nigeria, while its infrastructure is currently hosted in the EU/UK region. Certain personal information may therefore be processed or stored outside Nigeria.

We take appropriate measures to ensure that international transfers are handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:

• Request deletion of your information
• Request restriction of certain processing
• Object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent where applicable
• Request information about how your information is processed

Relaybase is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Relaybase does not currently use cookies or tracking technologies for advertising or profiling purposes. We may use essential session cookies necessary for the operation of the Service. We will update this section if our cookie practices change.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Relaybase develops, our practices change, or applicable legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date above. Where appropriate, we may provide additional notice through the Service.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
